Graveside services for Coy Wayne Radney, age 71, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6, 2002, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with G.A. Roach, Director of Pastoral Care at Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems in Amarillo, officiating. Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.
Mr. Radney died Sunday, February 3, 2002, in Amarillo. He was born January 12, 1931, in Clarendon and was an Amarillo resident most of his life. HE married Connie Jean Watkins on May 15, 1977, at Durango, Colorado. He was a truck driver and had been employed by S&B Stage Lines for the past five years. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Pioneer Gun Club in Amarillo and the Buchanan Street Chapel in Amarillo.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Radney of Amarillo; three daughters, Cathy Marie Golab of Mesa, Arizona; Laura Mitchell of Rock Springs, Wyoming; and Cathy Sue Welch of Dumas; two sons, Mark Radney of San Diego, California; and Dan Radney of Mesa, Arizona; and 14 grandchildren.
The family requests that memorials be to VA Hospital Patient Services Fund in Amarillo.
