Dorothy K. Wood

Graveside services for Dorothy K. Wood, age 88, were held on Saturday, April 27, 2002, in the Kress Cemetery with Dennis Harkins, family member, officiating.  Burial was held at Kress Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., in Clarendon.

Mrs. Wood died Thursday, April 25, 2002, in Plainview.  She was born February 10, 1914, in Heistraburg, Pennsylvania.  She was a former resident of Plainview and then lived in Claude and Panhandle before returning to Plainview in 1998.  She married Isom Wood on July 9, 1947, in Virginia.  He preceded her in death on March 26, 1985.  She was an employee of Coca-Cola, Eaton-Craig Stationary, and Jack Osborn in Plainview before her retirement.

Survivors include two step-daughters, Sue Palermo of Los Banos, California, and Norma White of Albuquerque, NM; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
