Services for Estal Lee Clark, age 94, were held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2003, in Roberson Chapel of Memories with Don Stone of Clarendon, officiating. Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.
Mrs. Clark was born April 6, 1909, in Farmersville to William and Ora Legge Mincey. She married Edwin Hayes Clark on June 14, 1927, at Grandfield, OK. He preceded her in death on September 30, 1970. She and her husband lived in Lesley for 14 years before moving to Clarendon in 1960. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by two sons, Willis and Robbie Clark; one daughter, Lovite Hatley; 5 brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Margaret Hughes of Clarendon, Minnie Clark of Amarillo; and one son, Donald Clark of Tucumcari, NM; two sisters, Margie Keeney and Robbie Everson both of Oklahoma; 17 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Casket bearers were Kirby Hatley, Erick Turner, Chris Spence, Mitchell Martin, David McAnear, and Stanley Altman.
Honorary Bearers were Tommy Hughes, Phil Clark, Walker McAnear, Wes Hatley, Jeff Hatley, and Roger Clark.
