Thelma C. Hardin Hill

Graveside services for Thelma C. Hardin Hill, age 82, were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2004, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon, with Rev. Bryan Knowles, Pastor of the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, officiating.  Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon.

Mrs. Hill died Monday, January 5, 2004, in Clarendon.  She was born September 7, 1921, in Clarendon.  She had lived in McLean for ten years before moving to Howardwick 20 years ago.  She married Alma Wallace “Buck” Hill on May 22, 1941, at Clarendon.  He preceded her in death on February 29, 1988.  She had worked much of her life as a hairdresser before her retirement.  She was a member of the Howardwick Baptist Church.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

The family suggests that memorials be to the Medical Center Nursing Home Activity Fund, PO Box 1007, Clarendon, Texas 79226-1007.
