Nellie Ann Moore Stanton

Graveside services for Nellie Ann Moore Stanton, age 84, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 30, 2005, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon, with Joe Jernigan of the Calvary Christian Church in Shamrock, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., of Clarendon

Mrs. Stanton died Tuesday, April 26, 2005, in Lefors.  She was born January 18, 1921, in Clarendon and was a resident of Dumas before moving to Lefors 52 years ago. She married Troy William Stanton on April 12, 1950, at Clayton, NM. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1999. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willis and Myrtle Richardson Moore; a sister, Sis Frazier; and by her husband on October 17, 1999.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Stanton of Lefors; a son, Troy D. Stanton and wife Suzanne of White Deer; a sister, Mable Tunnell of Pampa; two grandchildren, Jimmy Stanton and wife Connie of Little Elm, Texas; and Misti Atkinson and husband Joe of Marble Falls, Texas; and great grandchildren, Bryer & Bryce Atkinson.

The family requests that memorials be to BSA Hospice in Pampa or Citizens Cemetery Association in Clarendon.
