Jo Anne Johnson

Jo Anne Johnson, 73, died June 20, 2007, at Shamrock.  Services were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 23, 2007, in the First Baptist Church in Hedley, with Rev. Bruce Howard, Pastor, and Rev. Bill Hodges, Pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene in Clarendon, officiating. Burial was at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Johnson was born June 10, 1934, to John and Minnie Wilson Reeves at Hall Summit, Red River Parish, Louisiana. She married Virgil Dale Johnson on June 24, 1960, in Donley County. She had been a resident of Hedley and Donley County since 1960. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Hedley. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband on March 26, 2004; her parents; two brothers; and a sister.

Survivors include three sons, Jesse Reynolds and wife Dianne of Shamrock, Johnny Reynolds and wife Sharon of Graham, and Bobby Johnson and wife Carla of Clarendon; two daughters, Sue Britten and husband Jimmy of Groom, and Beckie Torres of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Rowe Cemetery Association or Odyssey Hospice.
