Marjorie Row, 79, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon with the Rev. Roger Smith, Pastor, and Rev. Darrell Burton, Pastor of the Martin Baptist Church in Clarendon, officiating. Burial was at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Marjorie was born March 8, 1928, in Hall County to George and Clara Calhoun Elliott. She married Fred Lewis Row on June 27, 1946, at Memphis. She was an Avon representative for many years. She had been a resident of Clarendon since 1928. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, on February 27, 1997; her parents; five brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Lee and husband Joey of Clarendon; a son, Ricky Row of Clarendon; six grandchildren, Robert Lee and wife Kylyn, Ernie Lee, Jason Lee, Desirae Row, and Braeden Lindsey; two sister-in-laws, Ruby Elliott, and Ruth Sharp.

Carol Elaine Griffitts Thomas, 60, died Thursday, November 15, 2007 in Amarillo.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2007, in the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon with Rev. Matthew Stidham, Pastor, officiating. Burial was held at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Thomas was born July 1, 1947, in Whittier, Calif. to Lester Marvin and Elsie Lena Maxey Griffitts. She married Cal Thomas on July 20, 1963 at Montebello, California. She had been a resident of Clarendon for over 30 years. She was the Co-Owner of Panhandle Road & Field with her husband. She attended many of her grandson’s sporting events in Hedley. She was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother. She attended the First Assembly of God in Clarendon.

Mrs. Thomas was preceded in death by her daughter, LaDona Kay Thomas on November 11.

Survivors include her husband, Cal of Clarendon; two sons, Darrell Thomas and Shanon Thomas both of Clarendon; a sister, Lavonne Griffitts of California; and seven grandchildren.

The family request memorials be to the Harrington Cancer Center or the American Heart Association.

Burke Inman, Jr., 68, died Sunday, November 18, 2007.

Graveside services with inurnment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, November 23, 2007, in Westpark Cemetery in Hereford with Rev. Eric Robinson, officiating.

Burke was born August 30, 1939, in Hereford to Burke Inman, Sr. & Illyrhae Jordan Inman. He married Judy Phillips on April 23, 1981, at Oklahoma City. He was a Marines and Army veteran during peacetime. He had been a resident of Clarendon the past five years. He had been a truck driver before his retirement. He was a Christian.

Burke was preceded in death by his father, Burke Inman, Sr.; and a sister, Carylon Jordan.

Survivors include his wife, Judy of Clarendon; his mother, Illyrhae Inman Fade and stepfather Walter of Temple; five daughters, Gina Robinson and husband Eric of Lubbock, Donna Brimfield and husband Greg of Belgium, Moni Marrs and husband Shawn of Garland, Stacie Murillo and husband Robert of Clarendon, and Laura Shelley and husband Jeremy of Clarendon; a son, Jerry Inman of Clarendon; two brothers, Charles Inman and wife Louise of Amarillo, and Billy Bryant and wife Dorothy of Temple; four sisters, Linda Holland and husband Jim of Lubbock, Sandra McNeely of Corpus Christi, Vickie Churchill and husband George of Oak Harbor, Washington, and Renee Fandre and husband Steve of Irving; eight grandchildren, Joshua, Katlyn, and Zackry Brimfield of Belgium, Xyla Marrs of Garland, Luke and Clarie Robinson of Lubbock, Madisyn Inman of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Jacob Murillo of Clarendon.

Ann Ree Porter Stuckman, 83, of Savannah, Georgia, and formerly of Clarendon, died on September 17, 2007.

Graveside Services with inurnment will be at 10:00 am, Friday, November 23, 2007 in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Rev. Don Travis, officiating.

Mrs. Stuckman was born on September 10, 1924, in Clarendon to the late Judge, John Ralph Porter and the late Jeannie Dale Powell Porter. Mrs. Stuckman was a member of Skidaway Island United Methodist Church and grew up in the First United Methodist Church of Clarendon. She truly lived the faith: quilting and knitting for the church and serving others with compassion everyday. She met her husband, Lowell Randalls Stuckman, in Texas during World War II and married. Ann graduated from Purdue University, taught elementary school for five years, and then stayed at home to rear their three daughters. She was an avid golfer who loved playing cards, gardening, singing in the choir, and a good laugh.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Frances “Boo” Porter Lowe and Jennie Dale Porter Landreth, and two brothers, William M. “Bill” Porter and Ralph Powell “Sonny” Porter.

Surviving are her husband of 61 years, Lowell Randalls Stuckman of Savannah, Ga.; three daughters, Catherine J. Martin and her husband, Mark, of Glen Arbor, Mich., Cynthia A. Hitt and her husband, Steve, of Weatherford, and Amy L. Blevins and her husband, Alan, of Savannah, Ga.; seven grandchildren, Clint Martin, Mary Westbrook, Marshall Martin, Boyd Hitt, Brooke Hitt, Carmen Castellano, and Taylor Blevins, and two great-grandchildren, Katelyn Castellano and Mason Westbrook.

Frank E. Jones of Harker Heights died Friday, November 9, 2007.

Funeral services were held at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights on Wednesday, November 14 at 12:30 p.m. followed by graveside services at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.

Frank was born February 12, 1934, in Amarillo. He grew up and went to school in Clarendon. In 1952 he went to work for Plains Dairy in Amarillo and retired as the general sales manager 50 years later. In 1953 he married Jennie Abdullah. He was active in the community as a member of the Masonic Lodge, a Kids Incorporatedcoach, The United Way and many business related activities. Frank was a member and past director of the Dairy Products Institute of Texas and inducted into their Hall of Fame. After retiring to Harker Heights, Frank joined C.O.P.s. He and Jennie attended Trinity Baptist Church and belonged to the 55 and Up and the Harker Heights Friends of the Library.

Frank is survived by his wife Jennie; son Jeff, daughter-in-law Deborah; great grandchildren Jacob and Julia all of Harker Heights; granddaughter Jenny; grandson Chris of Temple; a brother William of Amarillo; an uncle Billy of San Antonio and many sisters and brothers-in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He loved them all very much.

LaDona Kay Thomas, 42, died Sunday, November 11, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 17, 2007, in the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon with Rev. Matthew Stidham, Pastor, officiating. Burial will be held at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services are under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

LaDona was born February 23, 1965, in Norwalk, Calif. to Cal and Carol Griffitts Thomas. She had been a resident ofClarendon much of her life and lived in Washington state for quite some time. She loved her friends and family. She attended the First Assembly of God in Clarendon. Survivors include her parents, Cal and Carol Thomas of Clarendon; a daughter, Crystal Holman of Durant, Oklahoma; two brothers, Darrell Thomas and Shanon Thomas both of Clarendon.

Holleigh Joe Christopher, infant daughter of Kaysea Green Christopher and Wes Christopher of Clarendon, was stillborn on October 30, 2007.

Holleigh Joe, a precious angel, now in heaven watches over her parents.

Graveside services were held on November 3, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors, of Clarendon.

She was the granddaughter of Jason and Jody Green of Clarendon and Keith and Kristy Christopher of Clarendon; the great granddaughter of Bobby Joe and Jeanette Thomas of Pontotoc, Doug Maxey and Rhonda J. Chamberlain Maxey of Amarillo, Larry and Juanice Christopher of Clarendon, Raymond and Linda Meaker of Brownsville, and Linda Branum of Amarillo; the great great granddaughter of Naomi Green of Clarendon, Doris Maxey of Amarillo, Nelda Chamberlain of Panhandle, and Lou Morris of McLean; and had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Carrel Rippetoe, 80, died Wednesday, October 31, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services were held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 3, 2007, in the First Assembly of God Church in Clarendon with Rev. Matthew Stidham, Pastor, and Rev. Bill Hodges, Pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mr. Rippetoe was born May 21, 1927, in Sayre, Oklahoma to William and Geneva Brown Rippetoe. He married Neoma Dickerson on December 31, 1949, at Sayre, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Clarendon most of his life. He had worked in the Water & Sewage Departments for City of Clarendon and Red River Water Authority. He was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Mr. Rippetoe was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Reggie Rippetoe; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Neoma of Clarendon; three daughters, Sandy Cox of Clarendon, Judy Bybee of Amarillo, and Deborah Powers of Amarillo; three sons, Eric Rippetoe of Clarendon, Ronnie Rippetoe of Amarillo, and David Rippetoe of Guthrie, Oklahoma; two brothers, Gene Rippetoe and  Jack Rippetoe, both of Pampa; 11 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Genevieve King Shields, 86, died Monday, October 29, 2007, in Amarillo.

Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 1, 2007, in the Clarendon Church of Christ with Chris Moore, Minister, and Kent Watson, Minister of the Claude Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was held at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Shields was born April 24, 1921, in Seminole, Okla. to B.H. and Melissa Griffin King. She married Jessie Lester Shields on August 21, 1940, in Memphis. She had been a resident of Goodnight for several years. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Claude Church of Christ.

Mrs. Shields was preceded in death by her husband, on August 22, 1995; and her parents.

Survivors include three daughters, Nancy Mahaffey of Dumas, Johnny Robison of Breckenridge, and Shirley Harmon of Tulia; one son, Danny Lester Shields of Goodnight; four sisters, Eunice Kendall of Childress, Jo Evelyn Tolbert of Amarillo, Pauline Black of Ft. Stockton, and Jerry Faye Tims of Farwell; three brothers, Raymond King of Hedley, James King of Amarillo, and A.K. King of Fritch; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.

Mary Lee Noble, 93, died Friday, November 2, 2007, in Clarendon.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9, 2007, in the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Tom Garmon, Pastor, and Rev. Dr. Janie Sue Noble, daughter, officiating. Burial will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services are under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Noble was born April 17, 1914, in Clay County to William Henry and Minnie Dora Wallis Buchanan. She was one of fifteen children and was the last surviving. She married Lacy M. Noble on August 3, 1935, in Clarendon. She had been a resident of Lelia Lake and Clarendon most of her life where she was very active in the community, school, and churches. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Clarendon.

Mrs. Noble was preceded in death by a child, Billie Jean Noble, and her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Lacy M. Noble of Clarendon; a daughter, Rev. Dr. Janie S. Noble and husband Frank Amon of Bolton, England; and two sons, Lacy Lee Noble and wife Jan of Pampa, and Isaac Noble of Arlington; five grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
