Eva Lee Farr Hermesmeyer, 70, died Sunday, December 9, 2007, in Amarillo.
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2007, in the Robertson Funeral Directors Chapel of Memories with Rev. James Ivey Edwards, officiating. Burial followed at St. Mary‘s Catholic Cemetery in Groom. Services were held at Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Eva Lee was born May 18, 1937, in Goldston, Donley County, to Raymond Clifford and Cleo Gladys Gray Farr. She married Johnny Bill Hermesmeyer on June 21, 1968 in Clarendon. She had been a resident of Clarendon and Donley County all of her life. She had worked for the American Quarter Horse Association for several years as a secretary. She loved painting. She also helped others with reflexology. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon.
She was preceded in death by her husband on October 30, 2005; her parents; and a brother, Wesley Gray Farr.
Survivors include a daughter, Cindy Foster and husband Brett of Borger; a son, Shawn Anthony Hermesmeyer of Borger; three sisters, Kathie Rae Fleming of San Antonio, Anita Louise Hanley of Norman, OK, and Cleta Bernice Thornhill of Georgetown; six grandchildren, Crystal, Brody, Brady, Chad, Mickey, and Kourtney.
