AMARILLO – Salt Fork Cattle Co. of Clarendon earned a top-10 finish in Junior Working Cow Horse with Shine Happens, a 2005 Sorrel American Quarter Horse Stallion, during the FedEx Open Competition Show, held November 6-21 in Oklahoma City.
“The AQHA World Championship Show is the premier event for AQHA members,” said Don Treadway, Jr., AQHA Executive Vice President. “Congratulations to Salt Fork Cattle Co. for achieving such a great honor with Shine Happens.
The AQHA World Championship Show is the largest, richest single-breed world championship horse show in existence with more than $2.7 million awarded to 3,464 entries from 46 states, six Canadian provinces, and five foreign countries. To qualify for the invitational event, horses must have earned a predetermined number of points in AQHA-approved shows from August 1, 2008-July 31, 2009.
