Christopher Andrew Chamberlain, 31, died Sunday, May 23, 2010, in Clarendon.
Services were held at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, in the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon, with Commissioned Lay Pastor, Nancy Ruff, officiating. Burial followed at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Services were under the arrangement of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Chris was born January 20, 1979, in Amarillo to Trey and Diane Chamberlain. He was a 1997 graduate of Clarendon High School and received his Associate of Science Degree from Clarendon College in 2002. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarendon.
Chris was employed at the Clarendon Country Club and was an avid golfer and hunter.
He was preceded in death by his father, Trey; his grandparents, Fred and Jean Chamberlain, and his grandfather, Tony Haggis.
Survivors include his mother, Diane and step-father, Sandy Skelton of Clarendon; his sister, Catherine Chamberlain of Baltimore, Maryland; his aunt and uncle, Carol and Gene Thompson of Pampa; his grandmother, Kay Haggis of Cincinnati; his step-grandmother, Frances Skelton of Clarendon; his aunt and uncle, Barbara and Steve Taylor, uncle, George Haggis, and cousin, Grif Griffin, all of Cincinnati.
The family will be at 315 West 5th.
The family requests that memorials be to the Peak Scholarship Program c/o Clarendon College / PO Box 968 / Clarendon, Texas 79226.
