Johnson, Burton receive award September 15, 2010 by Roger Estlack Leave a Comment Marshal Johnson and Justus Burton were awarded the Arrow of Light during a special ceremony on Sunday at the First United Methodist Church. The award, which is the highest honor in Cub Scouting, was presented to the young men by their Den Leader and Cub Scout Master Darrell Burton. After being awarded the arrow, their Den Chief Trajen Johnson officially bridged the young scouts into Boy Scouts. The tradition in Clarendon includes walking over a bridge, accepting a Boy Scout scarf, and then signing and dating the bridge.
