Hundreds of monarch butterflies stopped at the home of Larry and Lura Helms north of Lelia Lake on September 26. Their daughter, Christie Cruse, took this photo, and Lura writes: “These beauties chose one of our old elm trees to rest in for the night. There were hundreds and hundreds of them.
