Star photo of the week October 13, 2010 by Roger Estlack Leave a Comment Hundreds of monarch butterflies stopped at the home of Larry and Lura Helms north of Lelia Lake on September 26. Their daughter, Christie Cruse, took this photo, and Lura writes: “These beauties chose one of our old elm trees to rest in for the night. There were hundreds and hundreds of them. They started gathering about an hour before sundown and left early the next morning on the next leg of their long, southward journey.” For submitting our Enterprise Star Photo of the Week, Lura receives a free ClarendonLIVE.com t-shirt.
