The Food and Nutrition 4H kids meet Saturday January 29 for an all day workshop with the new Donley County Family Consumer Science County Extension Agent Andrea Stelting The theme for the day was Getting back to the Basics The kids enjoyed cooking and eating chicken fried steak and homemade gravy Several educational talks were given over proper table setting manners and measurements fire safety in the kitchen hand washing and proper storage for food They ended the day by making home cookies chocolate cookies for the nursing home residents Pictured are back Caylor Monroe Lilly Carr MaRae Hall Krista Reynolds Andrea Stelting Kameron Shields Hannah Hommel front Ella Woodrome Maddie Woodrome Darcie Hunsaker Braylee Shields Shelby OKeefe and Collin Monroe
