Clarendon High School UIL Academic teams travelled to Dumas over the weekend to compete in the “Dumas Duel”. There were four schools participating: Clarendon, Palo Duro, Borger and Dumas. Clarendon won the Sweepstakes award for small school.
CHS also had the first place Number Sense team and the second place Science team. Individually, Jordan Luna placed first in Number Sense; Hyngmo Jung placed first in Mathematics and second in Number Sense. Kayla Elam placed first in Science and had the top score in Chemistry and Biology. Nathan Dziedzic placed fourth in Number Sense and Jerami Johnson placed 7th in Mathematics. S
am Wolfe placed sixth in Social Studies. We had a total of eight students represent our school. They each did a fantastic job.
