Local Pizza Hut workers Destiney Pate and Brandi Mays spend the day with Walking Across America Nick Kleckner as he rested up for the rest of his long journey. Hobo Nick is attempting to walk from the Atlantic Ocean in Florida to the Pacific Ocean in California. Nick started his journey without food, water, or money and has been living off the generosity of others. He arrived in Clarendon on Thursday and was welcomed by many in the Clarendon Community; several people gave him money, food, and toiletries. Nick’s goal is to find purpose in his life.
