Lillian Fowler

Lillian Fowler, 81, died September 26, 2012, in Tehuacana, Texas

Services were held on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in the First Baptist Church in Hedley with Michael Gilchrest, officiating. Burial followed at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley. Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

 Lillian was born January 23, 1931, in Bray to Sam and Flora Sanders. She married Jimmy Fowler in 1973 in Hollis, Oklahoma. She had lived in Hedley most of her life before moving to Tehuacana 5 years ago. The most outstanding thing about Lillian is that she was a generous giver. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Waco.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her daughter, Billie Wilson; and her sister, Oretha Potts.

 She is survived by 3 daughters, Kathy Collier and husband Gary of Waco, Betty Shelton and her companion Frank Compton of Tehuacana, and Neava Vidlar and her companion Leland Terry of Floyd, NM; her brother, Tracy Sanders and wife Sharon of Eastland; 7 sisters, Joyce Woodard, Helen Lindsey both of Hedley, Jean Rice and husband Pete of Arizona, Betty McGuire of Eastland, Tobytha Wiggins and husband Billy of Wheeler, Sammy Housden and husband Kenneth and Delores Simpson and husband Terry all of Eastland; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

 The family request memorials be sent to St. Jude‘s Childrens Hospital.
