Frankie Marie Spruill Bland

Frankie Marie Spruill Bland, 87, died Monday, October 8, 2012, in Amarillo.

Services were held Thursday, October 11, 2012, in the First United Methodist Church in Hedley with Rev. Keith Martin, officiating. Burial followed at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley.

Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, 1644 North 18th Street in Memphis.

Marie was born Sept 25 1925, in Memphis, Texas to Frank and Carrie Spruill. She married G.A. Bland on Sept 7, 1946, in Memphis. She enjoyed crocheting, woodworking, and painting. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Hedley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

She is survived by her son, Joe Moore and wife Sissy of Claude; 5 grandchildren Tina Hill and husband Bryan of Amarillo, Tonya Christenberry and husband Jeff of Blanchard, Ok, Terry Moore and wife Karla of Fort Polk , La, Teresa Moore of Lubbock, and Tiffany Denham and husband Steven of White Deer; a sister, Dorthy Robertson of Wellington; two brothers Billy Spruill and wife Daisy of Amarillo, and Jimmy Spruill of Memphis;

eight great grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be sent to Rowe Cemetery Association.
