James Alfred “Jim” Homer, 69, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013, in Howardwick.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
Cremation & arrangements is under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Jim was born June 26, 1943, in Seymour to Alfred and Agnes Homer. He was a US Army veteran. He had been a resident of Howardwick the last 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and collecting guns. He attended the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Groom.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by 3 sons, B.J. Homer and Tony Homer both of Groom and Chris Homer of Amarillo; 3 brothers, Johnny, Joe, and Jerry; 3 sisters, Ruth, Rita, and Rosemary; and several grandchildren.
