The Clarendon High School Junior Historians Chapter 807 was named first runner-up as Outstanding Texas Chapter for the 2013 school year. The award is given by the Texas State Historical Association in recognition of a chapter’s efforts to preserve local history, promote civic involvement, and conduct research.
