Lacy Lee Noble, 68, died Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in Clarendon.
Services were held on Monday, May 27, 2013, in the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon with Rev. Lloyd Stice, Pastor, officiating.
Interment followed at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Arrangements are under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Mr. Noble was born June 6, 1944, in Clarendon to Lacy M. and Mary Lee Buchanan Noble and had been a Clarendon resident most of his life, except for living in Arlington 12 years and Pampa for 9 years. He spent much of his life working as a machinist. He married Janiece “Jan” Weatherly on July 9, 1963 in Clarendon. He had been active in Little League, as a Cub Scout leader, and with Meals on Wheels at the Donley County Senior Citizens Association. He was always very social and loved his family and friends. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Clarendon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Billie Jean Noble; and a great granddaughter, Trinity Brogdon. He is survived by his wife, Jan Noble of Clarendon; one daughter, Paula Garrison and husband Mitchell of San Angelo; one son, Terry Noble and wife Lisa of Pampa; one sister, Janie Sue Noble of Dallas; a brother, Ike Noble of Arlington; and 5 grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the American Heart Association.
