Lance Adkins of Vernon stopped in at the Bar H BBQ N’ More on his “Fading West” journey of 1,200 miles from Texas to California to promote love, second chances, and redemption. Adkins departed Monday, September 2 and intends to arrive at Moonlight Beach in San Diego, CA on November 4, 2013. Upon arrival Adkins plans to be baptized in the Pacific Ocean to drown all the baggage that he has carried, say goodbye to the old him, and to burn the burdens others have shared with him throughout his journey and through his Facebook page.
