Norma Gay Graves Waggoner, 78, died Thursday, January 16, 2014, in Clarendon.
Services were held on Monday, January 20, 2014, at Robertson Funeral Directors Saints’ Roost Chapel in Clarendon with Rev. Derrel Evins, officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Interment followed at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Norma Waggoner was born March 21, 1935, in Clovis, New Mexico to Coly and Verna G. Riddle Graves. She married Robert Waggoner on April 18, 1954, in Muleshoe, Texas. She had been a data entry clerk for Lubbock Manufacturing and then later for Western Merchandisers. After having working and living in Amarillo, Norma moved to Howardwick 34 years ago. Mrs. Waggoner loved her grandkids. She also loved to cook, sew, quilt, and crochet. She attended the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Roger Graves; and a sister Billie Whipple.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Waggoner of Howardwick; a son, Robert Brett Waggoner of Culloden, West Virginia; 2 daughters, Kim Mayes and Kay Waggoner, both of Amarillo; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
