Derenda Dail Garrett

Derenda Dail Garrett, 69, died Friday, April 4, 2014, in Lubbock.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 1:00 pm in the Robertson Saint’s Roost Chapel in Clarendon with Rev. Dave Stout officiating.

Cremation & arrangements are under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Derenda Dail Garrett was born July 26, 1944, in Clarendon to Clarence and Juanita Garman. She was a longtime resident of Lubbock, where she served as Clerk for the Lubbock Police Department. Derenda was an avid Elvis Presley fan and one of her greatest adventures in life was visiting “Graceland”. She loved cats and always had a cat companion. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her niece, Terri Nielson.She is survived by her brother, Duane Garman, of Clarendon; her sister, Oveta Nielson, of San Angelo; and several nieces and nephews.
