Jeffery Chad January

Jeffery Chad January, 39 years of age, died on Monday, Dec 29, 2014, in McMullen County Texas from injuries received in an auto accident of the same day.

Funeral Services were held last Friday, Jan 2, 2015, in Orange Grove, Texas with Interment on Monday, Jan 5, 2015, in Pauls Valley, Okla. Arrangements were by Roberson Funeral Homes of Alice, Texas.

Jeff was born on August 24, 1975, in Guymon Okla., he then moved to OKC and Moore, Okla. where he started 1st grade and graduated from Moore High School in 1994, then attended Clarendon College, Clarendon. Jeff worked in the oilfield industry since 2005 and currently was an Oilfield Consultant for Applied Consultants, Inc. in the Corpus Christi area.

He is survived by his wife, Kandice Ivy-January and daughter, Jordynn of Orange Grove, Tex. and stepson, KyLnn Ivy of Piedmont, Okla. Mother, Brenda January-Hornberger and husband, Bob of Howardwick; Father, Monty January and wife Shirley, of Fair Oakes Ranch, Tex.; Sister, Alicia Conley and husband, Chris of Edmond Okla.; (2) Step-Sisters; Tiffany (Mickey) Mills of Liberal KS, and Ranae (Jonas) Sprowls of Pauls Valley Okla.; Nephews, Cole Pacheco of Edmond Okla. and Alec Ivy of OKC ; Nieces, Kylee Pacheco and Caylin Conley of Edmond Okla.; Mother in law, Trudy Workman of Elgin, Okla. and Father in law, Doug Ivy of Anahauc Tex.; Grandmothers, Mildred Baxter of Clarendon TX and Lois January of Guymon OK. Numerous Uncles, Aunts and Cousins, including Uncle Brad Baxter of Orange Grove, Tex.

He was proceeded in death by his Grandfathers, Boyd Baxter and Mont January and brother-in-law, Jere Ivy.

Since Jeff was a little boy he had a love for horses and rodeo which was carried on to his daughter, Jordynn, hence they have shared that love since she was 18 months old. Currently she is in the Texas Junior High Rodeo Assoc., Region 8 and is on her way the Regional and State Finals for the 2nd year.
