Sabra Ann Patton, 24, died February 28, 2015, in Amarillo.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 5, 2015, at Washington Avenue Christian Church in Amarillo with Charlie Cox officiating.
Burial will follow at Llano Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home.
Sabra was born on March 29, 1990, in Amarillo to James and Karen Patton. She graduated from Clarendon High School in 2009. She worked in the community of Clarendon at Dairy Queen, the grocery store and at the nursing home. She played basketball in Junior High and other sports with Special Olympics, loved to swim and showed pigs for FFA for over seven years. Most importantly, Sabra had a heart of gold. She never met a stranger and loved everyone. She was quick with a kind word and always brought a smile to people’s faces.
She is survived by her super dad, James Patton of Mount Vernon, IL; her beautiful mother, Karen Patton of Blackwell, OK; big Bro, Cody Vaverka of Tonkawa, OK; her gorgeous grandmother, Donna Hall of Blackwell, OK; 2 stepsisters, Brittany Fields of Mount Vernon, IL and Jessica Bailey of Amarillo; step brother, Justin Bailey of Mount Vernon, IL; several favorite uncles and beautiful aunts and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Billy George Hall and Pat Patton and her two best friends, her dogs, Big Guy Sparky and My Boy Radar.
