Donley and Armstrong county emergency personnel responded to a two vehicle accident near the west county line Wednesday morning July 1 A 2013 Toyota Scion driven by an Arizona man struck a deer and was stopped in the outside lane according to DPS Trooper Kelly Hill As the man and his passenger were out of the car looking at the deer a Chevy Traverse driven by Jimmy Booth of Memphis came over the hill and ran into the back of the Scion Booth was issued a citation for failure to control speed and Booths wife Beverly was transported to an Amarillo hospital for treatment Enterprise Photo Roger Estlack
