Constitution Day September 23, 2015 by Morgan Wheatly Leave a Comment Childress County Judge Jay Mayden lectures Clarendon College students last Thursday, September 17, during a Constitution Day presentation. Mayden paid particular attention to the protections of the First, Fourth, and 14th Amendments to the Constitution; and he encouraged students to have opinions about and think about the rights protected by those provisions. “You can’t use the Constitution just for yourself; it’s for everybody,” Mayden said.
