The Clarendon Lady Bronco softball team earned a huge 22-4 win over the Lady Cyclones last week in only five innings taking advantage of the run-rule.
Coach Gary Jack was pleased with the effort of his team.
“We played a strong game and dominated from the start,” he said. “We hit the ball very well. Briana Butler, Jensen Hatley, Shelby Baxter, Karlee Adams, Emily Johnson, Hannah Hommel, Brooke Martin and Briley Chadwick did a good job.”
Jack was also pleased with the pitching of Allyson Hogan.
“Allyson pitched well and our defense did a good job,” he said. “We kept the pressure on them and run-ruled them in the fifth inning.”
The Lady Broncos will host Gruver on Friday, April 16, before traveling to Claude on Tuesday, April 19. Both games begin at 4 p.m.
