Not just Whistling Dixie April 13, 2016 by Morgan Wheatly Leave a Comment Steve Hall, Jesse Lincycomb, and Larry Lincycomb sing in the beer garden during the opening weekend of the Whistle-Stop Trade Days in Clarendon last Saturday. Owner Kimberly Britten estimates as many as 5,000 attendees visited 124 vendors over Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; and comments from the public have been extremely positive for the new venture with reports of increased business activity around town and on social media. The next Trade Days will be held May 6-8. Britten says some changes will be made regarding traffic flow for next time, but she believes the first one was definitely a success.
