The Texas Department of Transportation TxDOT on Tuesday began the first phase of a project on US 287 in Clarendon just on the east end of the existing concrete pavement near Gorst Street According to Childress Area Engineer Matt Herbstritt the work will include new concrete pavement along a 200 foot stretch of roadway Construction on this project is expected to be completed in mid October Enterprise Photo Roger Estlack
