The Clarendon High School Bronco Band is advancing to the Class 2A Area Marching Contest for the first time since 2002 after receiving a Division One rating at the district contest Saturday in Amarillo The band last received a Division One in 2013 as a Class 1A band but that was not an advancing year Unlike other UIL events bands can only advance in competition every other year Clarendon will perform at Lubbocks Lowery Field early Saturday afternoon November 14 If they make the first cut they will march again Saturday evening for a chance to advance to state Courtesy Photo CHS
