Clarendon High School took 14 students in nine events to compete in academic competition April 22 at West Texas AM University Cate Word right placed fourth place in Copy Editing a fifth place in Ready Writing and a sixth place in Informative Speaking Josiah Howard was second in Lincoln Douglas Debate and advances to the State Speech Tournament May 24 25 in Austin Best of luck to Howard at state
