The Clarendon High School Class of 1972 will hold its 50th reunion October 14-16.
Activities for the weekend include a courthouse tour on Friday followed by attending the CHS pep rally at 2:45 and then a party at Pizza Hut. The class will attend the Broncho game that evening and then hang out at the Sandell Drive-In afterward.
The Donley County Senior Citizens Building will be the class’ “Base Hangout” for the weekend where they will enjoy snacks and classmate companionship.
Saturday will be a tour of the school and the museum with lunch in the depot. A tour and documentary at the Mulkey will follow in the afternoon with ice cream at Stocking’s afterwards.
“Dragging 287 Vintage Car/Motorcycle Show” will be at the Sandell Drive-In. If anyone has a Vintage Car, or motorcycle, and would like to display, contact Johnny Floyd, or John Morrow.
The class meal will be Saturday night at the senior citizens, and plans are in the works for a worship service Sunday led by Mack Tomlinson.
