Clarendon High School took 15 students to West Texas A&M University April 21 for UIL Academic Regional competition in ten events and three students advanced. Cate Word, Davin Mays, and Avery Halsey advanced finishing respectively first in Ready Writing, first in Feature Writing, and second in Copy Editing. The State Meet will be May 17-18 in Austin. Toby Leeper finished fourth in Science and is an alternate to State.
