Clarendon High School freshmen Zak Roberts Hunter Caison and Elaina Estlack met with Amarillo Mayor Cole Stanley last Friday to learn more about city government and what it takes to oversee a large city Caison reached out to Stanley independently due to his interest in politics and set up the meeting Stanley was very gracious and took time to answer the students questions and told them he has faith in their generation and the future Stanley later wrote on social media It was definitely time well spent All three of these young leaders are very impressive and way farther along than we were at their age I love that they arent afraid to speak up on these important issues and they represent our Gen Z generation very well Theres hope Courtesy Photo Kadee Caison
