Eva Mae Wilson, 72, of Clarendon passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Clarendon.
Memorial services were held on Thursday, February 27, 2025, in Robertson Saints Roost Chapel with Rev. Dr. Julie Vaughn officiating.
Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Eva was born in Memphis on January 10, 1953, to Jewel Jones and Loise Reese. She grew up in Clarendon and graduated from Clarendon High School. She later attended Clarendon College cosmetology school. Eva worked many years in hospitality and was a waitress at Big Texan of Amarillo. Eva loved being around family and friends playing the game of dominoes, playing lottery, and enjoyed watching her favorite tv shows and game shows.
Eva was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Calvin and Freddie Reese; and her sister, Tina Jones.
Survivors include her son, Stanley Wilson of Clarendon; two daughters, Janice Wilson of Irving, and Lawanda Wilson of Plano; brother, Alvin Reese and wife Heather of Amarillo; sister, Erica Jones of Oklahoma City; three grandchildren, Keoshia Wilson, Tinario Wilson, and Paul Williams, Jr.; one great-granddaughter, Nylah Gutierrez; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
