Lowell Randles Stuckman, 87, died Saturday, November 26, 2011.

Private Memorial Services were held at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, Glen Arbor, MI.

Memorial graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011, in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Rev. Lloyd Stice, Pastor of the First United Methodist Church of Clarendon, officiating.

Inurnment will follow at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Cremation and Arrangements are by Life Story Funeral Home of Traverse City, Michigan.  Local arrangements are by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Lowell Randles Stuckman of Traverse City, formerly of Garrett, Indiana, Pontiac, Michigan, Albuquerque, New Mexico, Wichita Falls, Texas and Savannah, Georgia died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Bortz Health Care of Traverse City.

He married Annie Ree Porter on September 1, 1946, in Clarendon.

In 1952 he started working as a Chevrolet Senior Cost Estimator and in 1978 he retired from General Motors as a Director of Product Programs.

Lowell was a member of Pi Tau Sigma of Purdue University, Land of Lakes Flying Club, Classic Car Club of America, Auburn Cord Duesenberg Classic Car Club, Four Hills Country Club of Albuquerque, NM, and an active member of the Methodist Church in Pontiac, MI, Albuquerque, NM and Savannah, GA.

Lowell earned his pilot’s license at 16 years old and continued flying for decades. He restored and exhibited many of his classic cars, enjoyed boating, water skiing, golfing, photography, and coin collecting.

Lowell was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ann Porter Stuckman, parents, Dorance and Ava Stuckman and sisters, Ilene Case and Phyllis Traster.

Lowell is survived by his daughters Catherine (Mark) Martin of Glen Arbor, MI, Cynthia (Steve) Hitt of Weatherford, TX and Amy (Alan) Blevins of Savannah, GA., grandchildren: Clint, Mary, Marshall, Boyd, Brooke, Carmen and Taylor and great-grandchildren: Katelyn, Mason, Porter, Rowan and Harlow.
