Consuelo C. Ramirez

Consuelo C. Ramirez, age 62, of Hedley died Monday, December 3, 2012, at Amarillo.

Services will be held Thursday, December 6, at the First Baptist Church in Hedley with Rev. Bruce Howard, Pastor, officiating. Interment followed in Rowe Cemetery in Hedley with arrangements by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.

Mrs. Ramirez was born January 20, 1950, in Alice to Carlos and Juanita Zuniga. She married Francisco Ramirez, Jr. on June 15, 1981 in Alice. She had been a resident of Hedley the past 23 years and was a homemaker. She was very self dependent and loved garage sales. She was a Christian.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Survivors include her mother, Juanita Zuniga of Robstown; her husband, Francisco Ramirez, Jr. of Hedley; two sons, Frank Ramirez, III and wife Norma of Hedley and Armando Banda of Dallas; two daughters, Patricia Saunders and Connie Ramirez both of Hedley; six brothers, Rudy Zuniga, Carlos Zuniga and wife Letty, Benito Zuniga and wife Erica, all of Corpus Christi, Jose Zuniga and wife Sandra and Tony Zuniga all of Alice, and Ruben Zuniga of Robstown; three sisters, Isabel Hernandez of Robstown, Maria Anzalua and husband Oscar of Arkansas, and Sylvia Zuniga of Portland; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will be at 500 North Bailey in Hedley.
