City Administrator Lambert Little was fired by the Clarendon Board of Aldermen on a 3-1 vote last night.
After a heated discussion regarding Mr. Little’s job performance, Aldermen Tommy Hill, Jesus Hernandez, and Abby Patten vote to terminate him immediately. Alderman Will Thompson opposed the measure.
The board tabled discussion of appointing a replacement for former alderman Terry Noble, who resigned November 27.
Approximately 22 citizens attended the meeting.
The Enterprise will have a full report of the meeting in the December 21 edition next week, and the board will hold its next regular meeting on January 8.
