Clarendon Cub Scout Pack 437 held its annual Blue & Gold Banquet last Thursday, February 6, at the First United Methodist Church.
Eighteen Cubs advanced in rank and received special recognition during the evening.
Cubs that sold popcorn last fall were received patches, and special awards were presented to the pack’s top sellers – Benjamin Estlack, Henry Bivens, and Harrison Howard.
Jaythan Green received his Bobcat rank, and the following boys received their Tiger rank: Ben Estlack, Dan Estlack, Henry Bivens, Jackson Graves, Ethan Vogelgesang, Mason Allred, Grant Haynes, Aiden Word, Aiden Jaramillo, and Kayden Early.
Four boys received their Wolf rank: Steven Mills, Jacob Murillo, Patrick Monds, and Harrison Howard.
The following received their Bear rank and their Whittling Chip knife safety award: Nathan Estlack, Damien Jaramillo, and Jake Christopher.
Tyler Paul also received his Webelos rank.
The Cubs and parents enjoyed a delicious brisket dinner prepared by Bob and Jolene Weiss.
The Pack’s next activity will be its pinewood derby next month.
