Cora Rose Hamilton, 84, died Wednesday, November 26, 2014, in Clarendon.
Services were held on Monday, December 1, 2014, in Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon with Rev. Anthony Knowles and Rev. Larry Capranica, officiating.
Burial followed at Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon.
Arrangements were under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Cora was born December 29, 1929, in Stillwell, Oklahoma to Calvin and Leona Frances Brown. She married Earl Hamilton on January 2, 1950, in Hollis, Oklahoma. She had been a resident of Clarendon since 1966 where she worked for Dale Robinson for many years selling vegetables and volunteered at Donley County Senior Citizens. She was a super mom and will be dearly missed by her loving family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband in 1991; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Ray Hamilton of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Karen June Nicholas of White House Station, New Jersey and Janice Hamilton of Clarendon; 2 brothers; 2 sisters; 7 granchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.
The family request memorials be sent to the Donley County Senior Citizens in Clarendon.
