Wanda Jo Wilson, 86, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015, in Lubbock.
Services were held on Friday, December 18, 2015, in the Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon, John Ballard, retired pastor of First Baptist Church Lubbock, officiating. Burial followed at Citizens Cemetery by Robertson Funeral Directors of Clarendon.
Wanda was born to Mack Truelock and Thelma Hammons Truelock on January 12, 1929, in Paducah.
She grew up and went to school in Paducah. She married Morris Stephens and had two children, SeReatha and Monte Stephens. They lived in Silverton and Quitaque. Wanda later moved to Hereford and married David Wilson. The two retired to a small farm in Clarendon.
Wanda did book keeping while in Hereford and then enjoyed raising alfalfa and cattle on their farm in Clarendon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, David Wilson, her son, Monte Dale Stephens, and her granddaughter, April Stephens Montague.
She is survived by her daughter, SeReatha Stephens, of Lubbock, her grandson, Shawn Stephens and his wife Britney of Prosper, Tex. and two great granddaughters, Riley and Finley Stephens, also of Prosper.
