The 2016-17 Bronco Cheerleaders spent three days at cheer camp at Southern Methodist University in Dallas last week. The girls learned cheers, chants, and dances in order to lead the fans in cheering for the Broncos and Lady Broncos at the coming year’s sporting events. Three Bronco cheerleaders received All-American Nominations. These were: Senior Captain Brooke Smith, Senior Co-Captain Jensen Hatley, and Senior Co-Captain MaRae Hall. CHS mascot Sandrea Smith also received an award for “Most Spirited Mascot.” The girls are looking forward to cheering for the Broncos in the new school year.
