Muralist Malcolm Byars and his assistant, Michael Blackwell, both of Amarillo, apply the first layer of paint to the new ranch heritage mural going up on the south wall of REFZ Sports Bar & Grill. The project, funded by the Clarendon Economic Development Corporation, began Monday and is expected to be completed before July 4.
