The late Bob White of Hedley was chairman of the National Peanut Board in 2015 and he and his wife Pat were honored to be invited to attend the Plains Annual Peanut Festival in Plains Georgia There they were honored to get to meet former President Jimmy Carter and his precious wife former First Lady Rosalynn Carter Pat recalls that while there Carter told of the couples humanitarian projects all over the world Both of them had such a desire to help others Pat says President Carter taught Sunday School at the little First Baptist Church in Plains for many years Everyone we spoke to adored both the president and his wife Such an experience that we will never forget<br >Courtesy Photos
