The Broncos were able to squeeze out Wheeler at home last Friday defeating them 62-48.
A solid start allowed the Broncos to gain the momentum they needed to put points on the board and stay ahead of the Mustangs. The Broncos were able to grab a good lead in the first half of play and out play Wheeler the entire game.
Clarendon was able to take an 11-point lead at the break thanks to four huge three-pointers from Caleb Herbert and then turn it into a 21-point lead in a solid third quarter. Michael Randall and Mason Sims were able to put eight and seven points respectively on the board in the third eight minutes to make a big statement to their mustangs. Randall hit two big shots from the arc, and Sims was strong inside.

Things did not go the Broncos’ way against Panhandle last week, and they were narrowly defeated at 32-41. The Broncos played hard but could not get anything to fall. They never gave up and stayed in the fight.
Bolin put in 14 to lead the team on the scoreboard, Randall and Sims had eight each, and Caudle put in five.
