Sharon Ann “Sherry” Moore

Sharon Ann “Sherry” Moore,  age 61, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, in Spearman.

Services were held Saturday, February 21, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Spearman with Rev. Jim Medley officiating. Burial followed that afternoon in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon. Arrangements were by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Spearman.

Moore was born in Clarendon on September 28, 1947, and was married to Phillip Terry Moore. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Moore, of Spearman; one daughter, Jo Pierson and husband Wayne, of Muleshoe; one son, Shawn Moore and wife Dynell, of Ruther Glen, Virginia; one granddaughter, Megan Pierson, of Muleshoe; two grandsons, Tobin Pierson of Muleshoe and Connor Moore of Ruther Glen, Virginia; her mother, Joann Shaw of Clarendon; and one sister, Carrie Shaw of Clarendon.

She was preceded in death by her father, H.C. Shaw, and two aunts, Margaret Hillman and Jane Hillman, all of Clarendon.
