Funeral services for Milton Lee Havens, age 69, were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 23, 2005, in Community Fellowship Church in Clarendon with Rev. Bryan Knowles, pastor, officiating.
Burial was held in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon under the direction of Robertson Funeral Directors, Inc., in Clarendon.
Milton was born May 30, 1935, in Dickens, Texas, to Arthur Milton and Sarah Vera Davis Havens and had been a Clarendon resident since 1957. He married Patsy Earline Hutson on June 5, 1964, at Clarendon. He had worked in the service station business, body shop business, and had farmed much of his life. He had also served in the US Navy. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Havens of Clarendon; one daughter, Regina Gaillard and husband Steve of Texhoma, OK; two sons, John Havens and wife Brandi of Clarendon and Preston Wayne Havens of Snyder, Texas; two brothers, Bob Havens of Clarendon and Gus Havens of Temple, Texas; mother-in-law, Ruth Hutson of Clarendon; two brothers-in-law, Jim Hutson of Clarendon and Kenneth Hutson of Hereford, Texas; six grandchildren, Lane, Shayla, and Will Gaillard of Texhoma,OK, Amanda Havens of Fort Stockton, Texas; Payton and Calder Havens of Clarendon; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and aunts.
The family requests that memorials be to the American Cancer Society or Odyssey Hospice in Amarillo.
