Memorial services for Randall Lynn Lamberson, 45, of Hedley were held Saturday, May 21, 2005, at the United Methodist Church in Hedley with Rev. Darrell Burton officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Hughs Funeral Home in Memphis, Texas.
Mr. Lamberson passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2005 in Hedley.
He was born on November 2, 1959, in Pampa to Buddy Lamberson and Alma (Alvey) Lamberson. He graduated from Pampa High School in 1978 and went on to McMurry College and Texas Tech, where he obtained his Bachelor’s of Science degree and later graduated from Methodist School of Nursing in Lubbock with his RN degree. Randy worked in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Lubbock, then as a nurse in Pampa, Borger, Uvalde, and Houston.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Lola Mae Alvey.
He is survived by his parents of Hedley; one brother, Mike Lamberson of Stinnett; a sister-in-law, Donna Lamberson of Darrouzett; his grandparents, J.T. and Helen Lamberson of Hedley; his friend and caretaker, Robert Sauceda of Hedley; uncle and aunt, Jim and Beth Alvey of Wheeler; aunt, Freda Morris of Huntsville; uncle and aunt J.T. and Jacki Lamberson of Pasadena, Texas; four nieces, Mikala, Ashley, Landa, and Kalan Lamberson; one nephew, Justin Lamberson; one great nephew, Kyler Lamberson; one great niece, Mykah Lamberson; and several cousins.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Rev. Darrell Burton, Geneva Mays, and Dr. Mark Drew for their help and care during this time. They ask that donations be made to Odyssey Hospice and Healthcare of Amarillo, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79101.
