Jackie D. Land

Graveside services for Jackie D. Land, age 69, of Lubbock were held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley with Rev. Bryan Knowles, officiating.  Services were under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.

Mr. Land died February 16, 2003, at Carousel Care Center in Lubbock.  He was born August 28, 1932, in Duncan, Oklahoma, and had been a resident of Lubbock for the past eight years, coming from Amarillo.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force serving in the Korean War.  He was a Baptist.

Survivors include a sister, Patricia Scroggins of Clarendon; a niece, Lynda Mattingly of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and a great nephew, William Jack Mattingly.
